Help Please.

This is a discussion about Help Please. in the Windows Hardware category; Hello, I know this isn't a 98 forum, however I can't figure this out. I have a Geforce MX 4000. And I have it connected to my television via a S-Video cable. However, the output is only in black and white.

Hello, I know this isn't a 98 forum, however I can't figure this out. I have a Geforce MX 4000. And I have it connected to my television via a S-Video cable. However, the output is only in black and white. Can anyone help me out to solve this problem. Thanks.

Sounds like it's in PAL. Install the latest Nvidia drivers, go intro the control panel for it and adjust the settings. Can't give ya exact directions because I'm using an ATI card.

Something like this:
 
1.) Left click on desktop, click on properties;
2.) Click on Settings tab, click on Advanced;
3.) Click on GeForce XXXX tab;
4.) Click on Nview Display Settings;
5.) Right click on the TV displayed in the picture;
6.) Hold arrow over Select TV Format, and click on Advanced at the very bottom of pop-up menu;
7.) In the Video output format change it from Auto-Select to S-Video-Out, and then Apply.
