HELP!!! Q3 Locks up everytime I try to start it?

Help, I Have a MSI 649D Pro with Dual P3 800 EB, Viper V770 Ultra. I have used every driver out there and I cant get Q3 to run or stay running. I can run a dedicated Server with no problem. .

If youve got Win2k, make sure youve got Service pack 1 installed. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers for your chipset and mobo. Check MSI's website for them.

What happens when it crashes? Just a lockup, or does it dump you back to the desktop? Or does it do something else? Do you have your video card overclocked?

Try deleting the q3config file ( I forget the exact name and Im at work). Its the one with the key bindings and game settings. I had the same problem and I solved it by doing the above.
