help with boot loader

First I would like to say hi to everyone. I am new here so be forgiving. I have 2 partitions on my drive one is a primary 7. 5g with win98 the other is a primary 22. 5g with windows 2000 Both are fat 32.

First I would like to say hi to everyone. I am new here so be forgiving. I have 2 partitions on my drive one is a primary 7.5g with win98 the other is a primary 22.5g with windows 2000 Both are fat 32.I want to get rid of 2000 so what do I have to delete to get rid of the boot loader.I tryed to set the 98 partition active then fdisk /mbr but that didn't work. Any help would be great!!

Mabey I Blind but I did a search and did'n see how to delete the boot loader, just how to edit it to add or remove operating systems.

Firstly goto win2k,
 
control panel > system > advanced > startup and recovery
 
choose the default operating system as win98 and put 0 where it says display operating systems. then OK.

im sorry i read your post wrong, i didnt see you said how to delete the boot loader, i thought you just wanted to dual boot.
