Help with Ethernet/LAN/Xbox
This is a discussion about Help with Ethernet/LAN/Xbox in the Windows Networking category; My friend has his PC hooked up through his ethernet port which is the only one on his PC. And he wants to run his Xbox online through his PC. Can he plug his Xbox into the ethernet and use his LAN port for his PC? Sorry if I didn't describe that very well, that's all the info he has given me.

Umm, I think he means;
He has two PC's linked by ethernet, but he needs the ethernet port for his Xbox, can he link up his 2 PC's via LAN?

He'll need to by a hub to sit in the middle - then everything connects to that rather than connecting directly.
I think it should be as easy as telling the XBox to use the PC as it's default gateway.
