Hey Peeps,

Quote:I just installed the latest Nvidia Detonator v21.81 video drivers on my Win XP system and after rebooting, it also fixed the known problem with my Hercules Game Theater XP sound card. I have 768MB of RAM and am running stock boot.ini with no mods. I have a Geforce3 video card so was anxious to install the latest Nvidia drivers because of performance boost claims.

Wait, it seems to work after all. Well a little anyway. The situation is as this:
Before det 4 i used 256 ram and it worked a little (50% of times I play sound I get high pitched screeching noise)
Now i use det 4 and 320MB ram and it works a little better (25% of times I play sound I get high pitched screeching noise).
System specs
Asus P2B-DS (440 BX)

BTW I use digital out. I've used my GTXP as a stereo-only non-3d sound card so far I plan on getting a nforce mother board (maybe from asus) and send my GTXP back.
