Hercules has been a well known name in the PC video card market for the last 19 years. They certainly have a lot of experience and a name that carries on. Guillemot Corporation acquired Hercules in October of 1999, and their 3D Prophet line of video cards are currently the ones to notice. Hercules makes many kinds of cards to cater to just about any niche they have the need to serve, whether it be the Video Editor User, the Business User, the Home User, the Casual Gamer, or the Hardcore Gamer. The 3D Prophet line includes the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX series of cards, the GeForce2 series, and now the GeForce3 series. Hercules, however, doesn´t only carry NVIDIA products. They also make cards based on other chipsets as well, most recently the KYRO 1 and KYRO 2 chipsets.
