Hibernate
When I try to go into hibernation, I get a dialog box that states that my HP 8100 CD-RW driver will not allow it. This is the default driver that was installed by Win2k. HP has no updated 8100 drivers on their web site.

1-No CDrecorder ever needs drivers for a OS! HP never releases drivers for their CD-writteer plus recorders (maybe firmware updates, but not drivers).
2-The message you get is because you are using an incompatible WNASPI32.DLL file. This migh come because you're using an old burning software (easy CD 3.5 doesn't work very well under windows 2000). You will have to upgrade to easy cd 4, or nero 5 ( www.ahead.de) to be able to burn CD's under win2000 and hibernate later.
