Hidden and Dangerous - XPLOSIV!

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the XPLOSIV version of Hidden and Dangerous running on Windows 2000? I can't seem to get it working properly. All is well until I choose my men and weapons, at which point it locks totally.

First post here! Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the XPLOSIV version of Hidden and Dangerous running on Windows 2000? I can't seem to get it working properly. All is well until I choose my men and weapons, at which point it locks totally.
The XPLOSIV (re-release) version comes patched to version 1.2, I hear this is the problem. Any way around it? 1.3 doesn't help either, I'm afraid.
