Hide the "Run:" line from the Start Menu
This is a discussion about Hide the "Run:" line from the Start Menu in the Windows Security category; How do I, without installing anything other than XTeq. I am setting up a couple of Single-app terminals and I don't want the drones to be able to do anything other than work that program. Also, how to stop the New Task option in the task manager as that acts just like the run line too.

I s'pose I could set the app to be the shell rather than explorer but I think that's a bit drastic.

You can use group policys for it in 2K and XP, and poledit in NT4. They all do the same thing, and that's toggle registry entries. If you don't find it on technet, I might be able to dig it up tomorrow at work when I am around some windows machines.
