or someone grabs a file from me on network = 100% processor utilization

I have no idea why this is in WinXP Pro as it was not this way in Win2K Pro. Maybe someone out there knows why this is?

weird i never noticed that when i ran xp.
I run .NET now and it is replicating files over the network via DFS all the time and running a web/ftp server and media file server. I never noticed any unusually high cpu usage. however i have a dual processor system so perhaps that is why. I don't think i have ever seen full 100% usage on both processors.

Do you have an integrated NIC? Tried newer/older drivers?
