Holding the ICON settings in XP folders

This is a discussion about Holding the ICON settings in XP folders in the Windows Software category; I think im missing the plot somewhere here. I cant seem to get the folders to all hold their ICON settings. When i go back to a folder after a reboot theyre all resett to TILES. Any pointers appreciated.

What build do you have?

I have not noticed it in RC1 atleast.

set the preferences for the folders you want then go to folder options and hit make all folders like current one. Then it will save them. Or when closing out the window hold down ctrl and go to
file-->exit
