home networking

This is a discussion about home networking in the Windows Networking category; we r having problems setting up a network using two computers. One is connected to broadband and the two pc's are joined by a crossover cable. We have run the wizzard and nothing happens. any ideas.

make sure the pcs are on the same subnet
like the pc with the inet should be 192.168.0.1 an the other one should be 192.168.0.XXX
