need help on my server. i have two computers at home both running on windows xp, both are connected to a smc barricade router. the desktop computer is used as my primary machine while the second computer is used as server running 24/7. it is setup so that my router connects to my dsl using my static ip given by my isp. the two computers also have their specific static ip address which is 192.168.02 for the desktop and 03 for the server while the 01 is assigned to the router lan side. all the needed ports (tcp, udp) from the public port of the router are already forwarded to the private port of the server. the problem is that i can send the packets to the server but the server can't get it out, hence the timeout happens. how can i go about this?
