How do I enable AGP2X on GeForce 2 card?
Basically what the topic says. I have a GeForce 2 MX AGP which is capable of 2X AGP, and so is my motherboard, however, it says 1X in the display properities. How do I make it 2X? Thanks.

Check the agp setting in the bios.
What motherboard are you using?
Usual question, VIA based make sure you got the latest 4-in-1's.
Intel based, make sure you're running the latest .inf
Also make sure the card is correctly seated, if it doesn't sit totally flush it will default to 1x (I know this from experience on an old Matrox G400 Max).

AMD chipset
Gigabyte 71-XE Motherboard...there is no setting in there to set it to 2X AGP. and the card is seated just fine, and the bios is updated to the latest.
Also have latest graphics drivers installed, as well as latest Miniport drivers, also latest EVERYTHING for the OS itself.
Any help?

actually, latest bios is 12/10/01 and it's a beta, latest miniport is 533, latest driver pack (there is no driver pack, installing miniport + ide bus mastering is all you need)
I've used latest drivers from Nvidia, both the released and beta they have on the website, it has NOTHING to do with the drivers.
I simply need an answer, not critism about my hardware.

I should have a copy of NVmax, and I can upload it to my site later on when I get home, if you want....
