How does one disable the security advice popups in XP SP2?
This is a discussion about How does one disable the security advice popups in XP SP2? in the Customization Tweaking category; I have just been all over the net for info on this but is unable to find it. Maybe it isn't possible? But I would very much like to get rid of the these security advices that pops up from the SysTray telling me that I don't have the Firewall active, nor the Automatic Update Option.

Wan't to run XP as lean and mean as possible (Found lotsa good advice on this site!! Excellent!), don't need internet connectivity on these computers, so I don't need XP telling me to activate the firewall everytime I'm on the desktop!
Any suggestions?

You could go into the Security Center and manually set the options to prevent notifications, but you may as well just stop and disable the Security Center service.
You can access the services by running services.msc.
