How to connect via serial cable two PC's ???

This is a discussion about How to connect via serial cable two PC's ??? in the Windows Hardware category; Hi, I am trying to connect my laptop (win98) to another PC (win2K). Any idea how? I tried direct cable connection of the Laptop but neither PC can see the other's files. . . thanks Jannis.

Hi,
