How to create a "hidden" user ?

This is a discussion about How to create a "hidden" user ? in the Windows Software category; I had to create a user for my task manager to work properly. . . but when i boot up XP, this user is in the logon screen and I dont want it to be there. . . I want the computer to automatically boot into windows without this screen.

I had to create a user for my task manager to work properly... but when i boot up XP, this user is in the logon screen and I dont want it to be there... I want the computer to automatically boot into windows without this screen... I tried the automatic logon (i found it in the XP ressource kit book) but it dont work...
 
vmware(a software) has created a user but this one doesn't appear in the login screen so I guess there is a way to apply this policie to the user I created

You can use TweakUI to enable autologon. Also with TweakUI, you can specify which users appear on the welcome screen. TweakUI is part of the WinXP Powertoys package. It is not available on MS website for now, they are working on a new version, which will be available in April. But you can download the previous version here.
