How to disable logon prompt after inactivity?
This is a discussion about How to disable logon prompt after inactivity? in the Windows Software category; XP prompts me to re-enter my password if my computer is inactive for a short while. Normally, this is fine & dandy. But, it is a pain in the @ss while I'm watching a DVD ;( I forget how to disable this, or extend the time before the password prompt appears.

Right click the desktop -> properties, screensaver tab, power button, advanced tab...."Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby"

Hmmm but computer still goes to standby mode, what is still annoying...
You shuld try to set that computer never goes to standby mode... It's somewhere under this power button too...
But most of today's DVD players can prevent your computer to go to the standby mode... Just chechk player's options... You shuld find it somewhere...

If it still does it just change monitor/hdd/system to "never" dvds are annoying like that in that they dont seem to count as activity just like some emulators
