How To Disable the Pop up to connect to alternate connection

This is a discussion about How To Disable the Pop up to connect to alternate connection in the Windows Networking category; I have a lan in my house with one of the computers on winxp. This comp has 2 connects for it. . the first is the lan card (Default connection) & the second is a dialup adapter. When the Default connection goes out a popup box comes up asking me if i want to connect to the dialup adapter.

When the Default connection goes out a popup box comes up asking me if i want to connect to the dialup adapter. This is not the Internet Explorer Dial Up popup.
 
How do i disable this popup from appearing with out deleting my dialup adapter?

I know you said it's not the IE popup, but check this anyway: In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options. Go to the connections tab, and make sure that it is set to "Never dial a connection". What you set here has an effect on the entire system, not just IE, so I think it may be your problem...

Nope i already have this checked off to never dial connection.
