How to Enable Defrag. Tools on NT4
Hi There, just wondering. . . how do I enable the Defragmentation Tools on NT4? Is it located inside the NT4 Resource Kit or else? Wow! Someone rated my thread with 5 Stars! I am so excited.....
Anyway, I went to MS website and they said there's no built-in tool for defrag. with NT4. I have to use third-party s/w.
But isn't it strange that they(MS) actually placed the "Defrag button" inside the tools tab?;(

AFAIK there never was a defragger in NT4 or the ResKit. You can get freebies that work well on standalone systems. Might want to look at:
