try removing the gimme.dll file - it causes problems for many users

Where is this .dll from and where can i find it?
Is it installed by the game or does it come with windows? If it comes with windows then what is it and won't i need it for some other things?

it's installed by the game... look in your installation directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed - Porsche Unleashed)
Porsche Unleased is a cool game, but you should also take a look at the old Sports Car GT game too! And now its in the bargain bins for about $9. Then go to this website and check out all the links to add more tracks and tons of cars!
