Make sure that at least one hard drive is formatted using the FAT32 file system.

To Check use the following instructions:

1. Click Start>My Computer
2. Right Click Local Drive (Drive Letter:)
3. Click Properties> Tools> Defragment Now
4. Look at the list at the top of the screen under "File System"
If at least one one drive is Formatted in the FAT32 File System "Star Trek New Worlds" will work on this drive, if installed on this drive.

If all drives are formatted in the NTFS File System you have Two ways to proceed:

1. You can Reformat and partition off a portion of one hard drive in the FAT32 file system (1GB Recommended)
2. You Can find a 1GB Hard Drive an format it in the FAT32 File System.

Once the program has installed.
Click Start>My Computer>Local Drives(Drive Letter:)>Interplay Entertainment Corp> New Worlds
Right Click STNW
Click Properties> Compatibility
Set Compatibility to Windows 95 and Click OK
Click Shortcut to STNW and Enjoy!
