HP 970 keeps printing a cardridge alignment page.

This is a discussion about HP 970 keeps printing a cardridge alignment page. in the Windows Hardware category; Everytime i finish printing something my hp970cxi prints out an alignment page. . . I'm using it on windows xp professional, and it's hooked on the USB. Anyone else having this? Is it due to the drivers (i'm using the default winxp drivers) or is my printer broken? Thanks.
