Hi
I have just upgraded a PC to 2000 and it has the HP 7200e external cd-writer attached to it. I found out that the installation disks no longer work, and it dumped the system files so I had to reformat. Now I can't seem to find any drivers for this with Windows2000. Can anybody help me please as we need to get this back up & running asap.
Thanks.

Thanks for that, but it doesn't seem to help me as the actual software download is 0.0kb. I want to download this rather than order it...any other places or am I missing something at their site?
Thanks a lot.

Perhaps, I am misreading it, but there is available RecordNow CD Mastering Software 8.58MB, the Parallel Port Driver .1KB, and the DLA Software 6.10 MB. The parallel port driver is essential. I think that the drive comes with Adaptec Software, which has been known not to like W2K. I would download these, especially the parallel port driver so that W2k knows where to redirect your burning software. If Adaptec gives trouble try Nero. The DLA software looks like it treats the CDrom as another drive. Probably uses UDF format.
