HP OfficeJet T65 under W2k ?

When I'm installing this beta drivers (2.2) everything working fine but every boot I'm getting "configuration in progress". it takes A long time and it bother me that every boot I have to suffer this thing.(in win98/me this problem didn't appear)
since HP released A new beta driver (2.8), my thought was that they fix this BIG problem but isn't surprise, the problem still appears (even on A clean installation.
Is somebody figure how to get rid of this problem? (except by not running the HP software at startup).
