HTML files missing icons
This is a discussion about HTML files missing icons in the Windows Software category; All saved html & htm files absolutely REFUSE to display their icons. . . I've tried reinstalling IE, reinatalling SP2, uninstalling & reinstalling GoLive & FrontPage, resetting file associations via the open files with dialogs etc.

Try setting file association manually: Go to Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options or Preferences (can't really remember the name, anyhow, it's a last menu item) -> File Types... look for .htm/.html and try to edit it.
