I can't install XP

This is a discussion about I can't install XP in the Windows Software category; When I try to install XP, I get this message: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find unattendswitch. 11/13/2001 04:04:42,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline. c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find runoobe.

When I try to install XP, I get this message:

SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find unattendswitch.

11/13/2001 04:04:42,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find uniqueness.
11/13/2001 04:04:43,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find includecatalog.

One of the components that Windows needs to continue setup could not be installed.

Manifest Parse Error : Invalid at the top level of the document.

GUI mode Setup has ended because of a fatal error.

Does anyone know why?

win2k pro or winxp pro?

HDD running in Pio in Xp ,, Udma in Win2k ??

Bad CD? What PC do you have? What XP version is that?

Is the PC overclocked? If so, try running it at the proper speed during the install and then clock it again afterwards. I had to do this get XP installed on one of my machines.
