I used to have a program( I forgot the name) which would analyze the file and seperate it into the seperate songs based on the amount of silence between each song. Can anyone help me here?.

Music Match can do that while creating MP3's. I don't know about splitting MP3's you already have. I use Cool Edit for sound editing usually, and it's easy to cut and paste stuff in there. But it's expensive.
