I have WIN2k, What about WINME?

Is it possible for me to installed WINME after I installed win2k? If so, how do i do this to get a dual boot?

Alec is right there is alot that can be done to boost the performance of your system. Going back to Win Me is a pain but a dual boot setup is nice. You can install win me if you have free partition and your boot volume is fat32. you may need to boot off of the windows 2000 cd after winme is installed and do a repair to get your win2k boot loader back.

JBoDean: did you go to or from any 3dfx card recently since youve installed win2k. 3dfx cards seem to be very touchy about any other card, including another 3dfx card, in the system after or before it.
To do a dual boot you have to have another partition on your hard drive. If you dont, get ahold of a partitioning utility like partition magic 6 and use that to set your partitions up.
Then install ME on the other partition. Once youre done, run the repair option off the win2k cd (you boot off it and hit 'R' instead of 'Enter'). Then under win2k you can set the default OS by right clicking My Computer/properties/Advanced tab/starup and recovery.
Its recommended that you set your virtual memory to a minimum of 1.5xram to Maximum of 2xram. You can change the IRQs, but youd have to reinstall win2k if you did that.I learned that the hard way. I really wouldnt suggest trying to change IRQs.
Oh, make sure you defrag your hard drive. If possible, put your swap file (virtual memory) on a separate partition. This will keep it from getting fragmented too much, if at all.
