I need help for games in windows xp

I run windows xp 2600 and Baldurs Gate II work very funy, my last test after 5 hrs the crash and I load save game and crash again and again. . again. . So I reboot the computer and load the game, its now work fine, but crash in another part of the game ! the crashs take more frequents ! I test ...

I tired... I run windows xp 2600 and Baldurs Gate II work very funy, my last test after 5 hrs the crash and I load save game and crash again and again.. again.. So I reboot the computer and load the game, its now work fine, but crash in another part of the game ! the crashs take more frequents ! I test other games like Max Payne and this work fine .
I format my hd 3 x and instaled detonator 21.81 (works bad), 21.83 (work fine) and 21.85( ), I update my bios, run xp in ATA 100, RAID 0 and the problem dont resolve, a install path for BGII.
The game is very crazy , other day a load the saved game and read new item found and tada.... windows crash ...

What kind of o.s. are you running? NT???
romainsimoni - he listed windows xp 2600 in his specs.....
3DMaker - it's hard to say what's wrong.... BG2 works fine for me. Do you have the latest updates for the game? And are you running the expansion too?

I don't see anything in your specs that would be problematic, but here's my specs just in case...
I'm running XP 2600.... it was a fresh install at RC1, then upgraded to each build after that.

Asus V7700 Geforce2 GTS (21.81)
SB Live! Value (5.1.2601.0, from the windows update)
Aopen AX6BC Pro Gold (Intel 440BX)
Intel P3 700MHz
384 MB PC133 RAM

I install de sp1 hot fix for XP final and this make my xp more stable now:D
