i need help with my computer!!!!
This is a discussion about i need help with my computer!!!! in the Legacy OS category; Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me with my computer. Everytime i go on the internet explorer, i have the annoying search sidebar popping up. Everytime i go to close it it always comes back up when i go to a different site or when i open a link in the same window.
Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me with my computer. Everytime i go on the internet explorer, i have the annoying search sidebar popping up. Everytime i go to close it it always comes back up when i go to a different site or when i open a link in the same window. It is very annoying.
Also, i have tried to delete the files that are associated with canada.exe bec it is i think a program or whatever that asks me if i wanna pay for somethin... (i canot recall, i think it is one of those long distance things) and i keep deleting it (it is in system 32 of windows...) and everytime i start my computer, it keeps coming back up again. I really wanna get rid of it!
help on this is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

That's an Adware...... no doubt about it.... go to www.download.com and get your self some anti-adware programs...
like:
ad-aware
spydoctor
etc.
about the annoying pop-ups.....
in your internet explorer cick "Tools", select "Internet Options", choose "Advanced Tab", look for a category titled "Browsing"... Uncheck the option that says "Enable Third Party Browsing etc."
