I need to connect 2 companies together using broadband..help
We just got cable setup at our 2 sister companies and now want to be able to access the shared drive at one company from the other. How do I go about doing this? We have static IP's also. .

Is there any basic way to allow one company to access a shared drive at another company. Each company has a linksys router and Terayon cable modem. Is there something I need to setup within the router to allow incoming connections?
Don't mean to be a pain, I just need to get it done today or tomorrow. Any advice?

1. Open the ports for your VPN, if you use PPTP need to open port 1723 and configure GRE 47 .... I imagine on the Linksys models its just a check box or so through their web interface
2. Configure a VPN server.

3. Configure the VPN client.
