I think I found the heatsink that will go onto my next rig!
This is a discussion about I think I found the heatsink that will go onto my next rig! in the Windows Hardware category; Nice lookin' and performin' cooler. The other reviews I've seen say the same. The only thing I'd be concerned with is that it was tested on an XP2200+, which may (or may not) be a little cooler being that it's slower/older.

My next cooler will be a Koolance system. :^) For now, my Thermaltake TR2 M2 T.M.D. set-up is doing fine.

If your talking about your new Pentium 4 rig, i would say look elsewhere... this is AMD only!
If its for an AMD rig, then go for it!

I have 2 thermalright SLK 700 in my dual AMD 2600+ rig. My cpu temp with cold boot right to bios pc health went from 50 degrees to 30. !!
i got a thermaltake Spark 7 for my p4 2.4 @ 2.9 - this thing hits 7031RPM on high speed!
it keeps my cpu temp around 28C on idle with an rpm around 5200 and about 36-38C on full load whether @ 6000rpm or 7031RPM - pending on time of day.
