I just right clicked, went to properties, checked "Hidden", closed IE, and re-opened it. It's gone. Won't come back either

Funny thing. I just noticed that there's a setting for this in TweakUI (1.33). On the IE tab if you scroll down the list there's an item named "Show Links on Favorites menu". If you uncheck it, the Links disappear from the Favorites menu. I checked the Links folder under Favorites and, sure enough, it had been hidden.

Fantastic. This method also works nicely with that annoying "From ICQ" folder that keeps returning if ICQ is installed.

It's so stupid how companies put links in a menu that they "think" we need..

I'd rather make my own folders thank you very much Microsoft/ICQ..
