IE 6 build ???

I got IE6 (french, I live in France) through a dvd featuring Visual Studio. Net, I installed it and found it is the 6. 0. 2483. 0001 build. Is it the final version that has just come out ? Because, when I tried to update through 'ie6setup.

I got IE6 (french, I live in France) through a dvd featuring Visual Studio .Net, I installed it and found it is the 6.0.2483.0001 build. Is it the final version that has just come out ?
Because, when I tried to update through 'ie6setup.exe', the program didn't see it was already IE6 installed and wanted to perform the update !
So, that is why I'm asking what is the build anyone can install through update (ie6setup.exe)?
