IE 6 Come and get it

This is a discussion about IE 6 Come and get it in the Slack Space category; get the ie6setup. exe file downloaded and make a batch file with this in it ie6setup /c:ie6wzd. exe /d /s:#E then save the bat file in the dir where ie6setup. exe is and run the bat file this will allow you to download the the ie6 setup files for 9x or win2k or nt 4 to disk without having to install it right away.

i was downloading WinAce 2 earlier and saw the news on here giving a link for ie6b, i was like"cool, i'll get that setup file but i'll need to find the switches, you being the good person you are, posted:

too bad now the damned link doesn't work, i wanted to d/l ie6 too, oh you lied to me man, haha, you told me that 2446 was hardly any different from 2428, bullsh1t! Man, its so much better, it starts up and logs on so much faster. I had a boot+logon time of 1min 47sec with 2428, now i have a boot+logon time of 58sec. AND THATS WITH MY SLOW HARDRIVE AND SYSTEM BOTTLENECK!
