Jsut after win2k has booted i try to click on the IE icon, IE gives me a message: cannot find internet connection, try again, work offline. When i click "try again" internet works fine. I tried it with IE2 (that is still present as i upgraded from NT4) and it connects fine from the first time (i know, the work offline crap is not implemented in IE2 so that should explain it). But other programs like icq, msn messenger and napster work fine too.
I got this message since i installed a UDMA 66 HD on the highpoint 366 controller of my abit be6-2. Is there a irq conflict with my NIC now?
Anyone else experienced this?
Would it help if i installed Win2k with ACPI disabled?
Thanks.
