IE favorites
This is a discussion about IE favorites in the Customization Tweaking category; I just put XP on my pc. I tried to import my favorites, backed up on cd, into IE only to be told that I don't have permission to install into that folder. See admin. for permission. I AM the admin. Someone had suggested that I copy the file & paste it into the favorites folder.

Someone had suggested that I copy the file & paste it into the favorites folder. This only puts it into the folder as an html document. If anyone has ran into this or has a suggestion, I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Have you tried doing this while under the ADMIN account, or just under you admin account (your name with admin priveleges)?
