I'm having trouble getting the speakers on my new computer to work.

I am running through iTunes and can't get sound. I show that the programs are running and that something, somewhere in the bowels of my computer is playing but nothing out of the speakers. Yes; the speakers work with other devices (iPod) and yes I downloaded the drivers that came with the motherboard cd.

Everything else on the motherboard works and I don't want to have to replace the whole thing for a faulty audio out port. Is there anything else to try. Thanks.

If the speakers are working with everything but iTunes, it's not the mobo, it has something to do with iTunes, I wouldn't replace the mobo, I'd look for a problem with iTunes. Make sure you have the latest update for iTunes.

If the mobo had a faulty audio out port, it would be faulty for "everything", and that's not the case.
