Imperialism II demo

Could anyone tell me how I can make the Imperialism II demo run on my NT system (4. 0 with sp6a) When I try to run it, the following error pops up: 'The procedure entry point DirectDrawEnumerateExA could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.

When I try to run it, the following error pops up: 'The procedure entry point DirectDrawEnumerateExA could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll'
 
I have the file DDRAW.dll located in the directory C:\WINNT\system32
 
Please help.

Imperialsm probably requires DX6. You only have Dx3. NT4 will not run it.
