INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE.... old one i know but please help

This is a discussion about INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE.... old one i know but please help in the Windows Hardware category; right ok, installed new KT7a-raid, i already had 98se and 2k installed on my system. Now i can get to 98 no probs but 2k always crashes with INACESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error on me. Now i know this is due to the bus master driver from the via 4 in 1's.

right ok, installed new KT7a-raid, i already had 98se and 2k installed on my system. Now i can get to 98 no probs but 2k always crashes with INACESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error on me. Now i know this is due to the bus master driver from the via 4 in 1's. But i cant even rerun thro setup to repair 2k. Does anyone know which files i can manually replace to at least let me into 2k so i can repair it from there?
thanks

THEN ... UPDATE :

right ok, gave up on trying to find the individual drivers and formatted the 2k partition. But still it happens. During the setup i press F6 and install the Highpoint Drivers. It then continues the install until the first time u see the 2k splash screen and then it crashes again. I have tried removing the scsi card, installing the NT drivers instead but nothing seem to have any effect.

yeah i have done that F6 jobbie and installed the latest highpoint drivers it still causes the same error. Which is the file in the root directory that determines the multi-choice boot menu? and also i have tried running the cpu at 1G (same result)
