Have u tried the Compatibility Mode???
Try installing VDMSound, it's a soundcard emulator for Dos boxes in NT systems.

Thanks - and everyone should check out the download page at ScummVM - there you will find a free download of the classic game 'Beneath a Steel Sky' - the developer of the game has released it as freeware and can be downloaded as the CD version or the Floppy version. It's a fun game and worth a spin...

what exactly does scummv do? I have the same problem. Will it replace your old sound card or just work along side it?
