infrared internet dial-up connection
This is a discussion about infrared internet dial-up connection in the Windows Hardware category; i' m having problems connecting my HP omnibook xe3 laptop via its infrared port with my siemens s35. I've enabled infrared in bios and set it to FIR mode, win2k recognises my Siemens (Siemens s35 in range, it says), switched my siemns to infrared mode, in the dial-up connection i've made i've selected the irDA mode ...
i' m having problems connecting my HP omnibook xe3 laptop via its infrared port with my siemens s35. I've enabled infrared in bios and set it to FIR mode, win2k recognises my Siemens ("Siemens s35 in range", it says), switched my siemns to infrared mode, in the dial-up connection i've made i've selected the irDA modem (irc link) but when i try to connect i' m getting this answer:
"the remote computer rejected the conncetion attempt"
Anyone could help me on this one?
