Im haveing an install problem also. I'm running XP home and when I click on install i get a message saying something like not running 16bit unable to run ms dos and windows applications. And it goes back to the desktop. There has to be a way to install on xp.

I have the exact same problem with not being able to install on XP. I have written to Eidos but don't know if I should expect them to reply...

Listen up people: the best way to play FF7 is to install win98, cuz if U don't U'll be having LOTS-of-problems with upside-downz, hardware acceleration, sound... etc. I mean we're talking FF7(!) here, doesn't it deserve an extra 200M of win98 !? I installed win98 just 4 this game and was never sorry I did. Instead of spending a hole day or more figuring how to run it, go 4 win98 and enjoy DA GAME.
