installation problem

Greetings, I'm trying to install Winxp 2600 in my Bro's computer (clean installation) , during installation an error poped up saying Fatal Manifest parse error Controls. man. . . . . anyone encounter this before??? is there a solution to it?? specs P3-550 Abit BH6 mobo Pioneer DVD 3DFX Voodoo 3 - 2000 256 bm ram SB ...

I have the same problem ! Tried it on two different computers:

Athlon 500, Promise100 RAID, Gigabyte 7IX MB, Pioneer 16xDVD
3DFX Voodoo 5 - 5500, 256 bm ram, SBLIVE Platinum5.1

&

Athlon TB 1200, Gigabyte 7DX, Panasonic 4xDVD, 3dfx Voodoo3 3000, 256 RAM

and get the same error.........voodoo u think ?

One of my friends at uni says his worked first time

Might try the 3dfx hack thing suggested under the compatibility list in ntcompatible !

I'll post if it works or not !
