1. Microsoft XP Professional
2. Microsoft Windows
i dont wanna reinstall xp again just to get the startup menu.
is there anyway to get the startup menu after installing win98 without reinstalling winxp?

No biggie.
After you reinstall 98, simply boot up with the XP CD into the recovery console and do a fixboot and a fixmbr. Backup your NTLDR, NTDETECT.COM, and BOOT.INI files onto the D: drive just in case or for easier access.
