Hi there, i've posted this a couple of places but have had no fun with anyone helping me.
I wish to install 98se on a pc with XP-Home already installed upon it. My Drive structure
C:\ Xp Home *NTFS
G:\ win98se *FAT32
and use a boot loader, i already own a registered copy of Acronis Boot Manager 8.0 from previous uses and wish to use this. Whats the best way to go around installing 98se on the second disc, i assumed that when i placed 98se disc in boot it would offer me a choice of where to install the OS to, but it does not (Too use to xp i guess). The problem being is that G: is a partition of F:, and F: has data on i dont wish to lose.
If i were okay to lose my data would i be able to ismply unplug my C: disc, plug my F: disc into primary and install 98se on that, then just plug my C: disc back in, install boot manager and be able to dual boot from there? my main issue in thinking this is does 98se have any issues with being on a disc other than C:, with registry issues etc?
cheers!
