Installing sims 2.
This is a discussion about Installing sims 2. in the Windows Games category; hi im trying to install sims 2 and when its installing i keep getting the same popup when its at 76%, and now after pressing enter a million times im now at 93 %, but it hasnt asked me to insert disc 3.

im trying to install sims 2 and when its installing i keep getting the same popup when its at 76%, and now after pressing enter a million times im now at 93 %, but it hasnt asked me to insert disc 3. its saying A problem occured when trying to transfer the file and so on. ive gotten to 100% before, but the same thing happens and it doenst quit

Hmmm, try copying the files off of the CD's\DVD's to your computer and then installing from there.
So copy CD1 to a CD1 folder on your copy.
Copy CD2 to CD2 on your computer
etc.
Then run setup from CD1 and when it asks for CD2 then point to the CD2 folder on your computer.
So copy CD1 to a CD1 folder on your copy.
Copy CD2 to CD2 on your computer
etc.
Then run setup from CD1 and when it asks for CD2 then point to the CD2 folder on your computer.
I tried that with my deluxe but it said there was a auto run problem
Ok well I got the sims2 not to long ago and at first it kept freezing then it kept having some color loss problems. Then i relized i needed to download some directx stuff so i did but i cant find the graphics adapter on the site give me the link to where to find the grapics adapter and i probably wont be back to discuss my problems
