installing voodoo 3 on NT 5.0

This is a discussion about installing voodoo 3 on NT 5.0 in the Windows Hardware category; Does anyone have step by step procedures on installing a voodoo 3 2000 PCI into a windows 2000 nt machine? I can't get it to work, it just freezes during startup. Thanks!.

1.) First, download the 1.04 drivers.
2.) Uninstall existing video card drivers.
3.) Turn off the computer.
4.) Disconnect the monitor fromthe existing video card.
5.) Open the case.
6.) Remove the existing video card.
7.) Install the Voodoo 3.
8.) Close the case.
9.) Connect monitor to Voodoo 3.
10.) Start computer.
11.) Run the driver download file.
12.) Reboot when prompted.
