installing Windows 98

This is a discussion about installing Windows 98 in the Legacy OS category; When I go to install Windows 98 it does the scanning system registry and goes to a DOS prompt. Any ideas.

Most of us will need more detail before we can post an educated answer. Are you upgrading to windows 98, if so, from what version of windows?
